Who We Are
We are the most important international independent film festival in Mexico and we take our programming to all areas of Mexico City.
STUFF Mx was born in 2016 by the hand of Grupo Cultural Introspección as a window for those national and international filmmakers who seek continuous spaces for the projection and dissemination of their cinematographic works. In this way, STUFF Mx has its first edition in the Cine teca Nacional de México on October 15 and since then, STUFF Mx has not stopped propagating the best national and international independent cinema.

Our Vision
To become the most important independent film festival in the continent and in the Spanish-speaking world in order to continue disseminating the best cinema.
The festival is one of the most important windows for the diffusion of the best independent film works emerging from around the world, bold, daring, irreverent cinema, are part of the works that our audience can enjoy throughout our different screenings and awards ceremony. STUFF Mx is the only film festival in Mexico that responds to the supply and demand of cinema that, due to its content, hardly reaches commercial movie theaters, video libraries, university film clubs and even streaming services. Eccentric, transgressive and even unclassifiable cinema due to its independent production and subject matter with a budget that in many cases is very limited. The festival shows the true face of independent film productions by holding different screenings in different venues in and outside Mexico City, offering a space for national and international productions in our country.

Our Mission
To support emerging and consolidated talent that creates quality independent films to be screened on different screens in the country and the continent.
Since its first edition, Stuff Mx has been able to present the best national and foreign short films, premieres of national and international films, from a collection of more than 1000 films from over 50 countries including Uganda, Kosovo, Philippines, Taiwan and Israel.
